Everything you need to know about Small Business Ownership in a One Day Seminar!
Pike County Economic Development Corporation and the Small Business Development Center is offering a Small Business Institute on Nov. 3 at John Wood Community College Southeast Facility, 39637 260th Ave., Pittsfield, IL, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Topics will include Quickbooks, WordPress, LinkedIN, Trademarks & Patents, Insurance, Cyber Security, Emergency Preparedness, Social Media, Unemployment Benefits, Legal Pitfalls, International Trade, Starting a New Business, Illinois Small Business Top Ten List, Money Matters & Succession Planning. The workshop will begin with a breakfast and registration from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Resources available for businesses will be presented from 9:00 am to 10:00am from various agencies. Sessions will run with 4 topics in each session to choose from beginning at 10:00 and ending at 3:00 pm. A lunch will be available at noon.
